About Us

Alex has worked in natural resource management positions since 2001. His career began as a trail crew member for the US Forest Service in Idaho's Frank Church Wilderness, and since then, he has diversified his skill set to include watershed and fisheries management, stream and riparian restoration, and recreation management consulting. He is solutions oriented and is widely recognized for his technical knowledge and skills in rigging operations and trail construction. 

Alex holds a Masters In Environmental Management (MEM) degree in Integrative Public Lands Management from Western Colorado University, in Gunnison, Colorado.  His thesis investigated the effects of motorized recreation on environmental, economic, and social resources on Payette Lake, Idaho, during 2019 and can be found here.
