Recreation Management

In our past lives, Payette Environmental Services team members spent decades maintaining, building, and managing trail systems.  From deserts to rainforests to tundra we consistently built sustainable, resilient, and ecologically sensitive trails that provided a high quality and aesthetically pleasing user experience.  We worked with groups from the USFS and NPS, to the SCA and WTA, to CIMBA and COTA, to the Great Baikal Trail Association, and we have spent thousands of hours building private trails all across the country.

While we have decided to take a break from large scale trail projects for the moment, we would still love to discuss your trail ideas and projects.  We still provide single and multi-day technical skills trainings on nearly any trail topic, and have the gear and knowledge to support almost any project.  Some of our current offerings include:
