Alex has been working in resource management positions since 2001. His career began as a trail crew member in Idaho's Frank Church Wilderness, and since then, he has diversified his skill set to include fisheries management, aquatic monitoring, volunteer training and coordination, and private consulting. Alex has worked for a number of non-profits, contractors, and federal agencies over the years, including the U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and National Park Service. He is solutions oriented and is widely recognized for his technical knowledge and skill in rigging operations and trail construction. Alex holds a Masters In Environmental Management degree in Integrative Public Lands Management from Western Colorado University, in Gunnison. Connect on Linkedin
Evonne began her career digging trails in 1998 with the Northwest Youth Corps, and since that time has worked in a variety of non-profit and federal positions across the Western US, Alaska, and Hawaii. Earning numerous STAR awards from the National Park Service during her career, Evonne has made her mark through her outstanding dry masonry and volunteer management skills. She holds dual B.S. degrees in Environmental Sociology and Sustainability from Oregon State University, and is currently pursuing an MFA in Nature Writing with Western Colorado University.
